Webster Groves has a mix of people, and it shows. Students, young families, and empty-nesters all call Webster Groves home. Webster Groves' location on the Pacific Railroad made it blossom into a suburb in the 19th century. The town itself is named for Daniel Webster, and for the many trees in the area, “groves.”

Theatre is also alive and well here; The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and Opera Theatre of St. Louis both call Webster University’s Loretto-Hilton Theater home. Nerinx Hall’s Heagney Theatre also stages regular shows.

Webster Groves has enough shopping, parks, and events for residents delight. Larson Park and the Farmer’s Market always bring people out of their home, and the Missouri Chamber Music Festival finds the best acts to serenade the crowd.
